A Return to Diplomacy: The Iran Nuclear Deal and a Democratic White House

20.10.2020, Online discussion

In the event of a victory in the US presidential election, Democratic candidate Joe Biden has announced that his country intends to return to the Iran Nuclear Deal – provided that Iran also fully implements the deal again. However, there are a number of hurdles in the way of the intended return. The latest FES publication “A Return to Diplomacy: The Iran Nuclear Deal and a Democratic White House” takes a closer look: with contributions from Europe, Iran and the US assessing the challenges and outlining solutions for a return to diplomacy.

FES EU-Office is happy to invite you to a panel discussion on the basis of this publication to discuss the role and opportunities for the EU in terms of a return to the Iran Nuclear Deal in the light of a Democratic White House. The event is particularly addressed to the Brussels based expert community.
